30th Annual Balboa Park Pow Wow

The San Diego American Indian Health Center is hosting the 30th Annual Balboa Park Powwow on May 12 & 13th, 2018. Every year the Balboa Park Powwow recognizes and honors a community member and celebrates Mothers on Mother’s Day. We will have Native American dancers of all tribes and ages dancing throughout both days. Our traditional Bird Singers will begin singing at 10:00am, each day. On Saturday, Danza Azteca Calpulli Mexihca Aztec dancers will be our guests. Vendors will be selling authentic Native American handmade jewelry, pottery, basketry and a variety of other crafts. Food vendors will be selling a variety of food items, including fry bread and Indian Tacos. The Balboa Park Powwow is free and open to the community. Event times begin at 10am until 6pm, both days.
