Larry Edmonds is the Youth Program Manager, dedicated to supporting his community. He is a full-blood Native American from the Kiowa/Caddo tribe of Oklahoma. In his role, he is responsible for programming, outreach, and serving as a liaison to contractors and vendors. Larry is deeply passionate about working with Native American and Urban Indian youth and actively participates in Pow-Wows and cultural events. His skills in graphic arts, property management, and parenting are valuable assets to his position.
Larry has completed courses in Behavioral Health, including Cultural Competency, Introduction to Trauma-Informed Care, and various Children, Youth, and Families System of Care Trainings. He is the proud father of two daughters, whom he raised on his own, and he takes great pride in their accomplishments. As a single parent himself, Larry can relate to the challenges that others in similar situations face. He believes that this job is “where he belongs” and looks forward to each day, helping to support Native youth through prevention and early intervention as they navigate their journey to adulthood.
